SEP Hydrographic this month welcomes Megan Richardson to the team, who joins us as a Geophysicist.

Megan has always been interested in nearshore operations and was keen to take on more responsibility within her role, which made SEP Hydrographic the perfect choice for her next career move.

Megan studied Geophysics at the University of Southampton and has since worked on various projects within the industry including offshore renewables and nearshore operations.

When asked about her proudest work-related accomplishment, Megan said "I'm really proud to have had the confidence to take the lead and put forward my ideas in a male-dominated work environment. The number of women offshore is gradually increasing now which is amazing."

Working in the coastal and nearshore zone isn't without its challenges, but Megan is looking forward to the next phase of her career. "Working offshore is a very dynamic environment that presents new challenges every day and I enjoy problem-solving. You also can't beat a good sunrise for some morning motivation", she says.

Director John Sadler said "We are delighted to have Megan on board. She is a great addition to the team and we are looking forward to working with her."

We wish Megan all the best in her new role and look forward to seeing her progress within SEP. Welcome, Megan!
